Emergency Response Planning and More

If you work around lead, don't take it home!
Chris Schneider

Today I'd like to share some information on Emergency Response Planning. Putting together a comprehensive emergency action plan dealing with issues specific to your worksite is critical. Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) should be very concise and address varied conditions. 1Source Safety and Health, Inc. can help you analyze and create an Emergency Response Plan for an emergency response. I have included a few articles below that I hope you find helpful.

Please feel free to e-mail me and we can set aside some time to discuss how 1Source Safety and Health can help you achieve emergency response planning.

Sincerely,
Chris Schneider, CIH, President

An emergency action plan (EAP) is to facilitate and organize employer and employee actions during workplace emergencies. Well developed emergency plans and proper employee training (such that employees understand their roles and responsibilities within the plan) will result in fewer and less severe employee injuries and less structural damage to the facility during emergencies. A poorly prepared plan, likely will lead to a disorganized evacuation or emergency response, resulting in confusion, injury, and property damage.
