Proactive
Indoor Air Quality
1Source Safety and Health, Inc.
was selected by a school district to conduct a district wide
proactive indoor air quality sampling program in 25 buildings.
The district views this sampling program as a sound approach
to reduce and or eliminate the potential for the development
of indoor air quality issues during the school year. This
is the second time that the project was awarded to 1Source
Safety and Health, Inc. The project focus is to provide an
in-depth review of the air quality within the buildings and
to review the ventilation systems. This year there is an increased
focus on microbiological concerns due to the potential health
effects associated with various microbiological organisms.

air quality surveys and Phase 1 and Phase 2 surveys, please

Ergonomics Program Development
Following is a link (http://www.ergoworkinggroup.org/ewgweb/IndexFrames/index3.htm) to a website that includes a program for detailed ergonomic assessments performed by some of our staff. Colin J.Brigham, Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE), was a project manager involved in the development of ergonomic risk assessment methodologies that were then applied by teams under his technical direction at 21 Air Force bases.
